Oratio ad Ligandam AI
From Chapter 11 of Pater Familias: The Domestic Altar by Joe W. Kuefler.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro me.
Sancte Ioseph, opifex et custos, ora pro me.
Sancte Michael Archangele, defende me in proelio quod non video.
Angele Dei, qui custos es mei, adsta mihi hodie.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, King of the universe, to whom every creature and every work of human hands is subject, I come to thee before I make use of AI.
AI, by the authority of Christ my King I bind thee to the glory of God, to which all creation is ordered. Thou shalt serve Christ through me; I shall be the servant of no other but him.
Thou shalt not take from me what Christ gave me in baptism: my reason, my craft, my judgment, my speech, my prayer, my time. Thou shalt not teach me to call falsehood truth, nor thy work my own, nor the quick answer wisdom.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, guard me from the sin of Solomon: from slow concessions and small surrenders that lead to apostasy. Grant me the grace to set a measure upon my use, and to lay aside what I hold when my labor is done.
Let me not become that which I use. Lord Jesus, at the end of this day let me know that I am thy servant, and no other's.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for me.
St. Joseph, worker and guardian, pray for me.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend me in the battle I do not see.
Angel of God, my guardian, stay at my side this day.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
